Territory Sales Manager (Inside Software Sales Representative)

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) work from our headquarters in Washington DC and calls on a territory exclusively defined by geographic boundaries. This role works autonomously, but is paired with a Regional Sales Manager who is focused on the largest enterprise accounts. The TSM will rely on the telephone and web-based interactions to engage prospects/customers, but may require travel in certain circumstances. 


  • 2+ years of software sales experience; 
  • Adept at asking questions that get to the heart of a customer's problem and highlight the strengths of your solution;
  • You are goal-oriented and metrics driven. You can track activity in Salesforce and report back on the status of your pipeline;
  • Top-notch communication skills that have helped you connect with a wide range of people whether it’s on the phone, or via email; and
  • You are detail-oriented and would never send something to a client that includes a typo or misspelling.


  • Close deals! The ultimate goal is to get our awesome products sold across your Territory by hunting new clients while also diligently responding to inbound requests;
  • Take initiative to research prospects, finding companies and contacts who might be interested in our services; and
  • Work with our Tech Engineers to run product demos that highlight our products’ strengths and capabilities.
