Junior Salesforce Administrator

Due to Thycotic’s rapid growth, we are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a Junior Salesforce Administrator. Thycotic’s business processes are driven through Salesforce, with constant coordination with our sales, marketing, client services, and support teams. This role will focus on the continuous effort to train and enhance your Salesforce abilities.

The successful candidate must be able to help with the daily management of our Salesforce platform, with the ability to grow into more responsibilities. They will be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail-oriented and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They will have superb communication skills that can work with a tight-knit team. This position will report to the Director of Sales Operations.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Needs to be a self-starter that will lead projects and provide essential feedback and assistance
  • Administration of the Salesforce environment; responsibilities include customizing and implementing profiles, roles, security settings, sharing rules, applications, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow rules, validation rules, approvals, dashboards, reports, and more with the coordination of the Sales Operations team
  • Maintaining and enhancing visual layouts, and workflow rules to enhance business processes and improve UX
  • Providing support to users in all groups to resolve issues with Salesforce and related applications through a Case Queue
  • Use of DemandTools and Dupeblocker to ensure data integrity and hygiene
  • Onboarding of new users, both internal users and partner users
  • Assisting the Senior Administrator in developing, launching and managing in-depth dashboards and reports for all team functions at both management and individual levels
  • Remaining current on best practices and technologies and advising on these practices for Salesforce-based solutions by attending webinars

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • 1-2 years as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Ability to work in our centrally-located DC office
  • Salesforce certification is a plus, but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Obtain the knowledge of our organizational structure to coordinate efforts between key stakeholders in Salesforce
  • Analytical skills to respond to requested changes and identify customizations across all native and custom objects
